Privacy & Discretion
How we hold your information.
Intimate Alchemy in the Heart of the Desert
Effective January 1, 2026. Last updated January 1, 2026.
A note before you read: This is a real privacy policy, written in plain language because you deserve to actually understand it. It explains what we collect, why, and the care we take with it. The short version is simple: we keep very little, we never sell you, and your privacy is treated as sacred here.
Your privacy is part of the practice
This work asks for a kind of honesty most of life does not. It felt wrong to wrap that in the cold, copy-pasted legal language every other website uses. So we wrote our own.
A Touch Of Tantra is a space for people exploring something tender and personal. We understand that many of you would rather not have your name attached to any of it, and we respect that completely. This page explains exactly how we handle your information, and the discretion we hold around it.
You do not have to be “yourself” here
You are welcome to move through most of this space under a chosen name. Sign up for our emails with whatever name feels comfortable. Introduce yourself in our community however you wish. We will never require your legal name simply to read, learn, or practice with us.
There is one exception, and it is purely practical: if you purchase something, our payment processor needs accurate billing details to complete the transaction and prevent fraud. That information stays with the payment processor and is used only to take payment. We hold it gently, and we never use your billing name for anything else.
What we collect
We collect as little as possible. Specifically:
Your email address and the name you give us. When you join our list, create an account, or buy a guide, we collect the name and email you provide. This is what lets us send you what you signed up for and stay in touch.
Payment information, handled by someone else. When you make a purchase, payment is processed securely by a third-party provider (such as Stripe). They handle your card details directly. We do not see or store your full card number. We may receive a record that a purchase was made, along with basic billing details needed to fulfil your order.
Basic information about how you use the site. Like most websites, ours may automatically note things like which pages were visited or what device was used, so the site works properly and we can improve it. This is general and is not used to identify you personally.
That is the whole list. No hidden trackers harvesting your private life. No quiet profile being built behind the curtain.
How we use what we collect
We use your information only for the honest, ordinary reasons you would expect:
- To deliver the guides, content, or access you purchased or requested.
- To send you the emails you signed up for, including practices, new offerings, and the occasional invitation.
- To respond when you reach out to us.
- To process payments and keep records required for running a business.
- To keep the site secure and working as it should.
We send marketing emails only to people who have opted in, and every one of them includes a one-click way to leave. If you ever want out, you are out. No guilt, no maze of buttons.
We do not sell you. Ever.
This is the part that matters most, so we will say it plainly.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to other businesses. Your presence here is not a product.
The only people who ever touch your information are the trusted services that help us run things, and only as much as they need to do their job:
- Our payment processor (such as Stripe), to take payment securely.
- Our email platform, to deliver the emails you asked for.
- Our website and hosting tools, to keep the site running.
These providers are bound to protect your information and use it only on our behalf. We may also share information if the law genuinely requires it, but never casually and never for profit.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we have a real reason to.
If you are on our email list, we keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. We keep purchase and tax records for as long as the law requires us to. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.
You can ask us to delete what we hold about you at any time, and we will, unless we are legally required to keep a small record of a transaction.
How we protect it
We use reasonable, industry-standard measures to keep your information safe, and we work with reputable providers who do the same. No system anywhere is perfectly secure, and we will never pretend otherwise. What we can promise is that we treat your information with genuine care and collect as little of it as possible, which is the best protection of all.
Your choices
You are always in control of your own information. At any time, you can:
- Unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message.
- Ask what we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete your information.
- Ask a question about any of this and get a real answer from a real person.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional legal rights over your data. If you would like to exercise any of them, simply reach out using the contact below and we will help.
To make any of these requests, email us at hello@atouchoftantra.com.
This space is for adults
A Touch Of Tantra is intended for people aged eighteen and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Cookies
Our site may use small files called cookies to help it function and to understand, in a general way, how the site is being used. Most browsers let you control or refuse cookies in your settings. Turning some off may change how parts of the site work, but you are always free to do so.
If this policy changes
If we update this policy, we will revise the date at the top, and for meaningful changes we will let our community know. Continuing to use the site after an update means the current version applies.
